Things have been pretty surreal surrounding Netflix’s upcoming TV adaptation of the indie movie hit Dear White People. It’s centered around a radio show run on a prestigious college campus titled “Dear White People,” which promptly angers the (mostly white) student body. When Netflix announced the show, it created an eerily similar result IRL, with social media outrage at the show’s mere existence.
Fast forward a few months, and Dear White People is on the eve of its release. To get people excited as well as answer some of the criticisms the show has faced since its announcement, Netflix has released a behind-the-scenes look at the show. It includes interviews with some of the stars and the director, as well as never-before-seen clips from the upcoming 10 episode season. Check it out below. Are y’all going to be watching when the show releases on April 28?
