Drake will enter tonight's Billboard Music Awards telecast already declared a winner.
According to the BBMA official site, he earned 10 early awards on Sunday morning. They included top Billboard 200 artist, top Hot 100 artist, top rap artist, top rap album ("Views") and top R&B song ("One Dance"). The rapper and EDM duo the Chainsmokers are the top contenders with 22 nominations apiece.
Mother-to-be Beyonce also scored some early wins, including top female artist, top touring artist and top R&B album for "Lemonade," the visual project that also won a Peabody Award on Saturday.
Drake and the Chainsmokers are just two of the big names in music who will attend the show. Beyonce, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and the Weeknd are among those who will not attend.
