Over the course of the last year, we've witnessed the rise of Tekashi 6ix9ine. The artist has gone from a nobody to a superstar, garnering so much attention with each update he posts. His marketing has been nearly flawless but his track record with the police has tampered with his success. The colorful personality has spent days in court awaiting sentencing for his controversial child sex case but it was determined recently that he would spend no time in prison over the incident. His entourage has levelled up right by his side and one of his managers, Shottie, has just surrendered to NYPD over a shooting in the city.
According to TMZ, Shottie is one of the men that got violent in a shooting that Tekashi 6ix9ine was involved in last week. The incident happened when the artist was scheduled to meet with a label executive, Elliot Grainge, at a New York restaurant. When Grainge's bodyguards shooed away 6ix9ine's entourage, things escalated and gunfire erupted. Shottie is reportedly one of the men that attacked a guard with a chair and he has turned himself in today. The publication states that one member of Tekashi's team uttered a threat, saying, "I'm going to violate you both with gunshots." For some reason, we doubt it was phrased in that manner, though.
Shottie was one of the men who bolted from the scene as two of 6ix9ine's team members were arrested on the spot.
