It's been a while since we've received new solo music from Ducko Mcfli but that's not to say he hasn't been busy. The Ear Drummers producer/rapper has made an impact with his name through his production credits. Of course, being aligned with with Mike WiLL Made-It doesn't hurt either. However, he's continued to prove that he's has a great ear for production and a skill at running the beats to the right people. Originally from Nashville, he's gone onto having an impact among some of the heavy hitters in Atlanta. Today, he delivers his first solo rap effort with "Don't."
On "Don't" Ducko McFli puts his producing abilities to the side and steps into the booth. The track was produced by SladeDaMonsta who's previously done work with A$AP Mob, G-Eazy, G-Herbo, Lil Uzi Vert and PnB Rock. SladeDaMonsta puts together some gentle keyboard progressions that layer underneath some 8-bit Nintendo sounds before tying it together with some sleek 808's. McFli uses the track to describe stubbornness in a relationship. On the hook he sings, "I can say sorry but I won't/ You could just forgive but you won't/ We could just be better but we don't." McFli's voice is covered in auto-tune as he flexes his melodies throughout the track. It's definitely a dope joint to receive from Ducko McFli after a few months of being quiet on the artist side of things.
2017 has been McFli's biggest year thusfar. While found placements on two huge albums this year. In March, he co-produced "Big God" featuring Trouble and Problem on Mike Will Made It's Ransom 2. Along with that, he also found himself with two major placements on 2 Chainz' Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album. He co-produced the intro track, "Saturday Night" with Mike Will Made It and also contributed production to the Swae-Lee assisted "Poor Fool." It's exciting to see what he gets up to soon.

Don't know what was going through my mind
Felt like I was running niggas time
Felt like I was running from myself
Felt like I was running straight to hell
