Draymond Green has made up his mind.

Draymond Green is by far one of the best defenders in the entire NBA. Although there are plenty of people who have prayed on his downfall over the years, there is no denying that he has been a truly incredible force. Without Green, the Golden State Warriors would have not won four NBA titles. Overall, he is not the guy that will score a ton of points for you. However, he will be the guy that fights with you in the trenches and gets those big wins in the postseason.

This past season was a huge test for the Golden State Warriors and Draymond Green. After punching Jordan Poole in the face, it became clear that there was a lot to work on here. Furthermore, the team just wasn't that good at the beginning of the year. While they did make the postseason, they were not able to get past the second round. It was a disappointing year that has come with an existential crisis regarding the team's core. As it turns out, Draymond Green is in the midst of some big decisions.

Draymond Green To Test The Market

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Draymond Green has decided to decline his player option for next year. This option would have paid him $27.5 million. However, he will instead get to test the free agent market. Of course, he could definitely stay with the Warriors. For how much money, remains to be seen. There have been rumors that Green could go to the Los Angeles Lakers. This is mostly due to his ties to LeBron James. Although, this is just speculation at this point.

No matter what, this is a big deal to the Golden State Warriors. They are not a team that can afford to lose core players. Otherwise, the dynasty is officially over.
