Rumors of Rick Ross and Meek Mill feuding with one another became rampant over the years. Between Meek’s issues with Atlantic and gossip outlets reporting that he turned Ross away from his section, it felt like the tension between the two was on the verge of exploding on the timeline. However, that wasn’t the case and Meek later reiterated that he has nothing but love for Rozay. That chapter came to a close during Meek’s 10-year anniversary concert performance of Dreams & Nightmares in Philadelphia when he reunited on stage with Rick Ross.
Since then, Meek Mill and Rick Ross have been seen alongside each other at numerous events. Over the weekend, the two rappers linked up with each other at the club. Ross took to the ‘Gram as he and Meek caught a vibe together. At one point, they showed off their watches and jewelry as Ross stated, “Y’all n***as better be ready.” Hopefully, this means that they’re gearing up to release some new music together in the near future.
Meek Mill & Rick Ross Reunite
Despite the rumored conflicts between the two, Ross made it clear that he only wanted to see Meek Mill win. During an interview with Billboard in 2021, Rozay applauded Meek’s loyalty over the years while acknowledging the Philly rapper’s aspirations to establish himself as a boss in his own right. “You either grow together or grow apart. As a boss, you make that decision because whatever it is you want to do, Ricky Rozay wants to see you do it. There’s a lot of people that didn’t last or was still down with me the way Meek is, so I want to see the homie shine regardless.”
Ross later added that Meek’s issues were with Atlantic Records and in recent months, they were spotted together in the studio. Besides that, Ross has also helped out Meek outside of music with the sale of a recent property. In March, Meek revealed that the MMG boss quietly purchased his Atlanta mansion for $4.2M. “Ross bought another crib off me for a ‘m’ yesterday!” Meek wrote on socials. “I had to ask him tf you doing with all this property.” We’ll keep you posted on anymore updates on their anticipated collab.
