Meek Mill and Rick Ross have new music "coming soon."

Meek Mill and Rick Ross shared a video from the studio on social media, teasing a new collaboration between the two. Ross noted that the new music is releasing "very soon" on Instagram. He also posted a series of photos of the two working together with the caption, "Dreams & Nightmares." They previously reunited on the 10th anniversary of Meek's debut album Dreams & Nightmares for a concert at the Wells Fargo Center in November.

The video was reshared by The Hip-Hop Wolf Instagram page, where it was met with mixed reactions from fans. "Idk man. Is it just me. Or Meeks style fizzled out? Did he miss his window with all the nonsense?" one user commented. Another wrote: "You just went to Ghana did it big!! Let’s talk about it in the raps!! The street stuff is cool but we need another angle on this album! Let’s see the growth! Lot of our rappers not maturing with the rap and think that’s part of the problem in the industry. Sound wise."

The new collaboration comes after there were rumors of a beef between Meek and Ross in 2021. Meek had voiced complaints regarding his label, but Ross explained that his problem was with Atlantic Records, not MMG. Ross addressed the speculation during an interview with Billboard later that year.

“I feel like we’re both hustlers,” he said at the time. “That’s one thing about life — you either grow together or grow apart. As a boss, you make that decision because whatever it is you want to do, Ricky Rozay wants to see you do it. There’s a lot of people that didn’t last or was still down with me the way Meek is, so I want to see the homie shine regardless.” Check out Rick Ross' recent posts featuring Meek Mill below.
