The newest edition of HotNewHipHop's weekly Fire Emoji is here to carry you through the weekend with the hottest tracks of the last seven days. Among the newest additions are songs by Yeat and Young Thug, Lil Durk, Diddy and City Girls, as well as several more.
As for Lil Durk, his highly-anticipated new album, Almost Healed, finally dropped this week after a delay, earlier this month. The project boasts collaborations with J. Cole, Future, Morgan Wallen, and more. As for the Fire Emoji playlist, his songs "War Bout It," featuring 21 Savage, "Pelle Coat," and "Grandson," featuring Kodak Black all made the cut. He's one of the most-featured artists on the playlist for this week along with Kodak Black, who just dropped his new album, Pistols & Pearls.

Pistols & Pearls sees Kodak work with EST GEE, Loe Shimmy, Lil Crix, and more. For Fire Emoji, the track "Dope Boy Magic" from the project gets a slot as does "Gunsmoke Town." When he announced the project, Kodak hinted that it would be his last with Atlantic Records. “THANX to EVERYONE THATS BEEN ON THIS JOURNEY WITH ME LUVIN & THUGGIN!" he wrote on social media at the time. "I COULDNT FIND PEACE WITHOUT ALL THE VIOLENCE @atlanticrecords It’s Been Well !!! Nothing But Gratitude & The Utmost Respect.”
As for Yeat and Young Thug's collaboration, "My Wrist," it arrives as the YSL rapper is in jail for conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Future came forward on social media, this week, to share a "Free Slime" shirt in support of his longtime collaborator. Thug has been in jail since May 2022, when he and 29 other people associated with YSL were arrested on gang-related charges.
In recent weeks, many more top artists have been shouted out on Fire Emoji. KAYTRAMINÉ, Symba, Kevin Gates, Killer Mike, and NBA YoungBoy, among others, have all made the cut. Check out last week's update to the Fire Emoji playlist below.
