Rick Ross Disses DJ Envy Ahead Of Car Shows: "You’ll Never Be On My Level"

Rick Ross sent a message to DJ Envy leading up to their upcoming car shows.

Rick Ross posted an Instagram Story recently, shading DJ Envy in the light of their upcoming car shows. Ross says in the video, “Since we on our car show, DJ Envy, you’ll never be on my level." Adding, “For one, you do car shows with rappers and my dead homies. So what you doing in Memphis, that’s for Dolph and I believe Dolph legacy should live on."“But make sure every penny you make, you donate to Dolph family. You see that [pointing to a custom rug with Dolph’s face]. I been had that Dolph rug made, Ricky Rozay, so that’s what it’s about," Ross told the DJ.

Ross continued in jest, “And Envy, don’t nobody build cars to come to your car show. Don’t nobody drive from out of state to come to your car show, Envy. Da Beige Rage. You see? But make sure them people got everything they need, Envy. And Memphis, y’all better hold Envy to it.” He Later added, “Bow down, Envy," and, "We show love, for real. You just marketing.”

Rick Ross Throws Shade

Ross also recently had his permit denied for his upcoming car and bike show. The permit was refused due to it not being “in compliance with Fayette County Zoning Ordinance.” He didn't let this stop him, however, reacting to the refusal in an Instagram message to followers. “Breaking news, the Rick Ross Car Show June 3 goes on,” he said. Adding, “It’s a private event on private property with VIPs and you’re invited. Tickets are still available online. It’s going to be a beautiful event. Shoutout to the beautiful city of Fayetteville.”

Following the permit's denial he also declared that he wants to run for mayor of Fayetteville. He shared on his Instagram story, “I love Fayetteville so much. Next year I’m running for mayor." “That’s right," he added, "The boss Rick Ross running for mayor of Fayetteville." He went on to say, "I wanna know how many votes did it actually take to vote in the mayor of Fayetteville. I need to know that ‘cause we gon’ become that. We gon’ make that happen, and we gonna have a good time. We gon’ give some people opportunities, we gon’ give some people raises and, of course, we gon’ have to clean some people out.”
