J.I.D drops his latest visual off of "The Never Story."

Since dropping his debut album through Dreamville, J.I.D has been making some serious moves. His latest project, The Never Story has been well received. Along with his association to J. Cole, the project has helped him land on the radar of many people in the hip hop community. The Dreamville rapper has recently announced that he'll be heading on tour with labelmates, EarthGang, this November. In addition to the announcement, he revealed the video for "Hereditary."

J.I.D's video for "Hereditary" is an excellent visual representation of the song. The video explores how infidelity gets passed on through the generations. It showcases the behavioral affects that children go through after living in a broken household. The point of the video is ultimately to show how those experiences end up being "hereditary" traits. Much like the majority of J.I.D's music and visuals, there's layers to it and this video is no different. The video was directed by Chad Tennies and Mac Grant who've previously worked with his labelmates, EarthGang, in the past. They've also done work for Kevin Gates, 2 Chainz and AudioPush.

J.I.D also announced that he'd be venturing on the co-headlining "Never Had Sh!t" tour with EarthGang that will travel through Midwest, South and Northeastern cities. The fifteen city date tour will kick off in Toronto on November 2nd before both J.I.D and EarthGang return to Atlanta for their homecoming show on November 21st. They'll also be hitting some major cities such as New York City, Boston and Miami along the way. J.I.D and EarthGang will also have Lutes and Chaz French as opening acts on the tour.
