With three releases under his belt this year, Chief Keef is now gearing up for his fourth. His upcoming project The Dedication has been long overdue. The rapper began teasing it as far back as 2016. It was only yesterday that we began to receive more information on the project. Chief Keef released "Mailbox" as the first single to the project. It's a great introduction to what he has in store. Today, he's back with the official video to accompany the banger.
It's a visually stimulating video that maintains the same amount of rawness as the song does. In the video, Keef and his crew are seen mobbing out in their car, their hotel as well as in front of a construction site. The majority of the video has each shot tinted in red lights. The shots cut between Chief Keef and his boys flexing in front of the camera to shots of women in face masks and bikinis. The video was directed by J R Saint who previously worked with Keef on his video for "Faneto" and has also done work with Machine Gun Kelly, The Game and Juicy J in the past.
Chief Keef definitely has no shortage of music in his stash. As he consistently puts music out, it's because he dedicates lot of his time in the studio. This morning he shared a snippet of an upcoming collaboration he has with Lil Uzi Vert which will hopefully land on The Dedication. He's also gearing up to drop his upcoming collaborative project with Fredo Santana on October 13th.
"Mailbox" is a strong single from Chief Keef and he brought a solid video to bring it to life. If it's an indication of what the project will sound like, we're definitely looking forward to it.
