Adidas Baseball today unveiled the limited edition Adizero Afterburner Father’s Day cleat to honor and celebrate dads across the globe.
Inspired by the “dad jeans” fashion statement, the special edition Father’s Day cleat is dipped in soft, baby blue and highlighted with denim striping details. Brown jean stitching accents the light blue SprintSkin upper, while Nubuck details on the tongue and pulltab complete the look.
The blue jean-inspired upper sits atop a full-length LiteStrike EVA midsole for increased cushioning and comfort. The Father’s Day cleats are powered by a matte blue plate with Protrax cleat configuration that provides dynamic acceleration and traction.
Over 100 #TeamAdidas baseball players will lace up these special edition spikes this weekend to honor their fathers.
