It seems like Jack Harlow is no longer on "No Enhancers"- or at least, that's what he allegedly said to dodge questions from reporters.

Fresh off the release of his latest album Jackman, Jack Harlow might be riding a few different highs at the moment. Moreover, the Louisville rapper recently appeared in Tommy Hilfiger luxury at the 2023 Met Gala, but there's a twist. According to a New York Times reporter, Harlow allegedly mouthed "I'm on shrooms" to press at the event who tried to speak with him. Even though he showed up on the red carpet, he didn't talk to many media people there (except apparently Emma Chamberlain, who hosted for Vogue). During their conversation, he reportedly came across as completely coherent.

Furthermore, this is made even odder by the fact that the 25-year-old has been a big advocate for sobriety in recent years. As such, many fans can't believe that Jack Harlow was actually on shrooms for the event. In addition, he has a lot of things to promote and talk about at the moment, so why would he not want to talk to press about it? All in all, this is still an unconfirmed, albeit slightly hilarious, piece of gossip floating around. Still, it does come from one of the top news sources in the world.

What's more is that the upward trajectory that the "They Don't Love It" rapper has displayed must signify a deeper reason for his alleged choice. For example, he has a new starring role on the way for the reboot of White Men Can't Jump. In addition, Jackman garnered a lot of buzz among critics and fans alike for its stripped-back and more classically hip-hop approach compared to his previous work. Regardless, it seems like Jack Harlow just wasn't feeling it on Monday (May 1) to indulge in some clips for the media.

In fact, there might be something on his latest album that is driving his choice, which is what sent fans and naysayers into a frenzy. On the aforementioned "They Don't Love It," he labeled himself as the hardest white rapper since Eminem. Moreover, considering how explosively those statements tend to land with fans and the press alike, maybe he predicted an onslaught of pushback. However, at the end of the day, we can't expect for artists to always be at the whim of their audiences or the press, and that has to be respected. Regardless, check out snaps of Jack Harlow at the 2023 Met Gala below and return to HNHH for more on these topics.
