The YSL rapper is reportedly surviving off of chocolate and chips while behind bars as his attorney attempts bond for the fourth time.

Young Thug's time behind prison is apparently damaging his physical and mental health quite severely. Moreover, fans heard of a fourth attempt from his attorney Brian Steel to secure bond for the rapper following increased concern for his fatigue. After all, the trial won't be worth it if Thugger isn't able to maintain his faculties, although he's stayed quite positive throughout the ordeal. Now, these arguments could be bolstered after Steel called out the Fulton County Jail for their improper food options. According to Atlanta's 11Alive's Thursday report (April 27), the 31-year-old is surviving off of chocolate and chips while incarcerated.

Furthermore, the attorney stated that his reliance on those snacks, with no health benefits, reflect a lack of sustainable and healthy options for eating at the facility. In addition, he mentioned other factors lacking while he awaits trial, like access to sunlight, outdoor areas, and exercise. Also, Steel believes Young Thug is sleep-deprived. Not only does he apparently receive five hours of daily rest, but he has to be up between 3 and 4 a.m. when summoned in court.

Young Thug & Brian Steel Fight For Bond Amid Health Concerns

Despite the gravity of these issues and their potential consequences, this marks the "Best Friend" MC's fourth attempt at bond. All previous efforts proved unsuccessful, so to reiterate them certainly can't bode good news when it comes to his health. However, with a smile in court every once in a while or updates from loved ones, fans have kept their head high. Attorney Brian Steel hopes the court grants Thugger a temporary release. Specifically, he stood by the fact that "conditions can be imposed which permit bond to be set." Along with all the other antics in this trial, this is one of the more concerning updates.

Meanwhile, other actions from (presumably) Thugger have fans scratching their heads. He recently put a link to Gunna's album DS4EVER on his Instagram bio. Then, he removed it hours after the news broke. Given Gunna's estranged public relationship with YSL after his plea deal, this left many confused. Perhaps bond would also allow Thug to at least slightly clarify many questions fans have as to his status. But that's quite the long shot, because this is a heavy case to grapple with. Regardless, come back to HNHH for the latest news and updates on Young Thug.
