Check out Harden's drive by dunk.

Houston Rockets All-Star guard James Harden is the latest NBA superstar to get in on the "Drive By Dunk Challenge," but he did things a bit differently than everyone else.

If you're somehow still unfamiliar with the Drive By Dunk Challenge, all you have to do to take part is pull up in front of someone else's house, get out of your car, and throw down a dunk on their basketball hoop.

We've previously seen submissions from Pelicans All-Star Anthony Davis, as well as Kings rookie De'Aaron Fox and Celtics forward Jaylen Brown. Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari even got in on the action.

Foot Locker recently teamed up with James Harden to deliver an unprecedented drive by dunk in which The Beard unexpectedly pulls up on an ongoing pickup game via boat. Check out the footage below.

As part of the "Summer of Harden," Adidas has also unveiled the "Yacht Club" Harden Vol. 1, celebrating James Harden’s upcoming 28th birthday with a nautical themed triple-white version of The Beard's first signature shoe. The latest edition of the Harden Vol. 1, which he wore in the Drive By Dunk video, is designed with a leather toe shroud, mesh upper and a custom maritime Harden logo featured on the outsole and sockliner.

The "Yacht Club" Harden Vol. 1 drops this Saturday, August 19th on Adidas.com. You can check out detailed images of the kicks in the gallery.

Harden will enter the 2017-18 NBA season as one of the NBA MVP favorites once again, with odds slightly behind Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant. Last season, Harden was the runner-up in the MVP voting after an incredible season where he averaged 29.1 points, 11.2 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game. His 29.1 points were second only to Westbrook, and his 11.2 assists per game led the league.

Next season Harden's Houston Rockets will be even more dangerous now that he'll be pairing up with Chris Paul to form one of the most skilled backcourt duos in the NBA.
