Quavo has just dropped a new line of hoodies that will benefit Takeoff's foundation, The Rocket Foundation. This comes just one day after fans accused Quavo of shading Offset for getting a tribute tattoo of Takeoff. The rapper took to Instagram to post some pictures of himself on top of a plane. In the caption, he wrote, "Rocket Power... It's In You, Not On You!" While that is extremely vague without context, fans saw it as a dig at Offset. Rocket power refers, of course, to Takeoff himself. Offset recently revealed that he got a huge tribute tattoo on his back for the late rapper, hence "it's in you, not on you." Whether or not the post was actually about the tattoo has not been confirmed.

Takeoff was just 28 years old when he was shot and killed in Houston, Texas. He was apparently present for a game of dice with his brother and fellow Migos member, Quavo. During the game, a heated argument broke out. Comedian Shawty Shawty spoke to the rapper’s cousins about the incident and provided more context. “Quavo dominates in a whole lot of things, basketball, all of this,” the comedian clarified “So, they say they had been shooting basketball earlier, and then they got to the bowling alley, and they said there was a dice game. And they say that Quavo noticed that the dice were not right, and that’s where the argument started.”

Many Are Paying Tribute To Takeoff

Although Quavo and Offset may have been in Migos with Takeoff, they are far from the only people in the industry paying tribute to the fallen star. Many of Takeoff's friends and collaborators are taking the time to show love. Rich The Kid has done quite a bit in the way of paying tribute, both getting a tattoo for Takeoff and showing off a huge pendant featuring a picture of the late rapper. “Today I lost more than a brother. My twin, my best friend, everything. I don’t wanna believe it, I can’t,” Rich said of Takeoff. “The most humble person I know. We used to share shoes [and] clothes before we made it with no problem! I miss you already. You didn’t deserve that! I can’t stop crying. I love you so much bro, forever.

In addition to the hoodies, Quavo has also announced a fifth annual Huncho Day. Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and several NFL players are set to appear. As with the hoodies, Quavo has announced that all proceeds from the event will go to benefit The Rocket Foundation. What do you think of Quavo's efforts to pay tribute to Takeoff?
