Domantas Sabonis reacts to being stomped by Draymond Green.

Domantas Sabonis was on the receiving end of a foot to the chest on Monday night. After getting tangled with Warriors forward Draymond Green, Sabonis was stomped by Green. However, the reasoning for the stomp has been up for debate since the moment it happened. Upon reviewing the footage of the incident, it seems Sabonis may have had a little bit to do with the stomp. But Green was the one ultimately ejected from the game for his actions. Sabonis gave the media his thoughts on the situation.

"There's no room for that in our game today... It's the Playoffs, a lot of things happen, I can't point it all... I'm just trying to protect myself." The Sacramento Kings big man claims he was protecting himself during the incident. However, from the video, it appears he was holding Green's foot before the stomp. But the stomp was still the wrong action made by Green. Two wrongs don't make a right. Unfortunately for Green, it could cost him more than just an ejection.

Domantas Sabonis Claims He Was Protecting Himself

Green is an easy target to go to in this situation. The outspoken star has racked up many technicals in his day. Also, Green is known to have been a part of a few dirty plays in the past. However, this time, it feels like two parties are at fault in the situation. As the Warriors wait to hear Green's fate, the team can't look back. The Warriors are down 2-0 to the Kings. A feeling that has never been felt by Steph Curry during his tenure with the team. However, the Kings don't care how the Warriors feel about the matter.

Game 3 will be on Thursday in the Chase Center. Expect Warriors fans to really let Sabonis hear it every time he touches the ball. But will Green be available for the game? Some believe that it is just a matter of time before Green is suspended from the game. A Green suspension will be a massive loss to the Warriors quest of a comeback. What are your thoughts on the incident? Does Domantas Sabonis share some of the blame? Let us know your reactions in the comment section. For the latest NBA news, keep it right here at HNHH.
