The Nike Air Foamposite One is one of the more polarizing creations from Nike. Overall, it is still a very cool shoe that will always remain unique within the Nike library. It is a shoe that was first popularized by none other than Penny Hardaway back in the 90s. Subsequently, it became a huge sneaker on the East Coast. Although, in recent years, it hasn't had the same luster it used to have. Much of this is due to a lack of great releases. After all, the best Foamposite release of the last decade set the bar extremely high.
Of course, we are talking about the "Galaxy" Nike Air Foamposite One which released all the way back in 2012. This sneaker was part of the All-Star game festivities that year and it immediately became the most hyped of the bunch. In fact, some of the releases regarding this sneaker led to actual fights and bloodshed. Overall, this remains a legendary release, and the resale prices for this are actually astronomical. Although, as SneakerBarDetroit reports, this model is returning next year.
