This infamous Charles Barkley shoe is making a comeback.

Charles Barkley is a legend in the NBA. Although he was never able to win a championship, he is still one of the best ever, especially in his position. He was a scoring machine and could also rack up the rebounds. Moreover, he posed quite the challenge to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls back in the 1993 NBA Finals. Overall, Barkley is someone who ought to be respected for his play on the court. This is true even if you don't agree with some of the things he says on television.

If you are new to the sneaker world, you may not know that Barkley actually used to have his very own signature model. This was the Nike Air Max CB 94. As you can guess, this is a shoe that was released in 1994. Consequently, it is going to be turning 30 years old soon. To commemorate this, Nike has decided that it will be bringing the silhouette back into its rotation. Of course, we all know that Charles Barkley was a big guy. Consequently, his shoes matched that stature. As you can see in the official images above and below, this sneaker has a chunky high-top look to it. In some ways, these even look like some military shoes. Firstly, the colorway starts with some black suede overlays. Secondly, there is a layer of white underneath that is subsequently complemented by some purple that goes up the tongue. It is a look that is definitely not for everyone, but it is iconic to the 90s.

As it stands, this shoe does not have an official release date. However, it is expected to come out in the Fall for a price of $170 USD.
