SZA's "SOS" has reached yet another milestone.

SZA's second studio album, SOS, has officially gone double platinum, according to Chart Data. As of April 10, the highly-acclaimed project has moved over 2,000,000 equivalent album units. In just its first week available, the project had sold 318,000 album equivalent units. It first went platinum back in February. Afterward, SZA reflected on the feat in a statement on social media.

“Last night was the first time I had a great time at an award show! (Prolly cause I ain’t have to do shit but cheer my friends on + announce ppl I Stan lmao ),” SZA wrote at the time. “My team also surprised me w a GANG OF PLATINUM and gold plaques for SOS can’t believe the album is already eligible for double platinum. LOVE TO EVERYBODY THAT GOT ME HERE AND CONTINUES TO LIFT ME UP. I love you.”

SZA released SOS back in December 2022 with features from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Behind the scenes, she worked with Babyface, Benny Blanco, Lizzo, and more. She promoted the album with the singles "Good Days", "I Hate U", and "Shirt." After release, she dropped two more songs as singles for the album, "Nobody Gets Me" and "Kill Bill." SOS became SZA's first album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200.

In addition to the success of the album, SZA's SOS Tour has been just as profitable. According to Billboard, the 18-date event grossed $34.5 million and sold 238,000 tickets. This results in an average of about $ 1.9 million and 12,812 tickets per night. The performances ran from February 21 through March 23.

Outside of music, SZA has been just as busy. Last month, she modeled for a new campaign for Kim Kardashian's brand, SKIMS. “I’m excited to be in SKIMS’ latest Fits Everybody underwear campaign and to align myself with a brand that strives to make women feel both comfortable and sexy,” SZA said in a statement at the time. The campaign emphasizes body inclusivity.
