LeBron James is continuing his quest of rewriting history. James has already achieved the greatest record in league history. After dethroning Kareem Abdul-Jabaar for the most points in NBA history. Now the King is chasing another impressive statistic. On Sunday, LeBron recorded his 107th triple-double in his career. The performance moved James into a tie with Jason Kidd for fourth all-time on the list. While James may never catch Westbrook, who currently holds the record at 198, being fourth all-time is still an impressive feat.
James' list of accolades will span longer than a CVS receipt by the time he hangs up his sneakers. However, the individual stats aren't the only thing the Los Angeles Lakers star is chasing. James is looking to add more championship rings to his collection. Barring a complete meltdown, the Lakers will qualify for the 2023 NBA Playoffs. It has been a rocky 2022-23 campaign for the Lakers. As James and his teammate Anthony Davis have had to deal with multiple injuries.
LeBron James and Lakers Seek Another Title
Through all the adversity, the Lakers seem to be righting the ship at the perfect time. The team will still have an uphill battle as they seek a second title with James in LA.
