Marquise Brown was sentenced for a recent speeding case.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown received his sentencing for a speeding case. TMZ has reported that Brown will pay a $473 fine. In February, Brown pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of excessive speeding. Brown was arrested in August of 2022 on these charges. According to police, the Cardinals receiver was caught going 126 mph in a 65 mph zone. The NFL star was driving a 2020 Mercedes during the incident. The incident took place in Maricopa County.

In 2022, Brown finished his first season with the Arizona Cardinals. After spending his first three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, he was traded to Arizona. Brown competed in 12 games for the Cardinals. Grabbing just three touchdowns on 709 receiving yards. The speeding incident took place before the 2022 regular season began. However, an incident of this magnitude could've still weighed heavy on the Arizona star. With so much happening in his life, it's easy to say that Brown was distracted in 2022. One can only hope Brown sees a more positive 2023.

Marquise Brown Avoids Jail Time In Speeding Incident

Brown's 2022 campaign was hit with injuries and this incident. The young receiver is hopeful for a turnaround in 2023. "Hollywood's" biggest season came in 2021 with the Ravens. The Lamar Jackson-Marquise Brown connection was a deadly combination for Baltimore. Brown finished 2021 with over one thousand yards receiving and six touchdown catches. A healthy Brown would be a huge factor for an Arizona team that is looking to fix a struggling offense. Just how will Brown fit in a new-look offense in the desert? A talent like Brown would be easy to plug into any offense.

It seems as if Brown understands the ramifications of his actions. Brown will hopefully put this incident behind him. Only time will tell if Brown has learned from the 2022 incident. While looking ahead to the 2023 season, will Brown have a clear mind? Will the Cardinals right the ship under a new regime? The aforementioned injuries of 2022 are hopefully behind him as well. Can Brown return to his 2021 form? Let us know in the comment section below. For the latest news on the happenings of the NFL, stay with us at HNHH.
