Adidas has today announced the signing of two top NFL wide receiver prospects, including Oklahoma's Marquise Brown and Iowa State's Hakeem Butler.
Both players took to social media today to officially announce their multi-year partnerships with the Three Stripes.
Marquise “Hollywood” Brown was a first-team All-American and first-team All-Big-12 selection with the Sooners in 2018. The 5'10 speedster finished the season among the nation's Top-10 in receiving yards (1,318) with 75 receptions and 10 receiving touchdowns in 12 games.
Due to a Lisfranc injury, Brown won't be participating in the NFL Combine, or Oklahoma's pro day, but he is still expected to be one of the first wide outs off the board.

Ironically, Hakeem Butler also finished with 1,318 receiving yards, averaging 22 yards per reception, while leading the Cyclones with 60 catches and nine receiving touchdowns in 13 games.
Butler, who stands 6'6, will be among several top prospects that will debut the 2019 adizero 40 cleats and 2019 adizero 8.0 cleats for his on-field workouts and 40-yard dash times in Indianapolis this weekend.

Per Adidas:
"Aerodynamic and weighing in at only 4.7 ounces, the 2019 adizero 40 cleats are the undisputed lightest cleat in the game. Inspired by the afterburners on the fastest fighter jets in the air and crafted for the fastest players on the gridiron, the 2019 adizero 40 cleats feature a glowing burnt orange colorway and sonic boom wave-like pattern that pays homage to F-15, F-16, F-22 and F-35 fighter jets."
The 2019 adizero 40 cleats ($180) and the adizero 8.0 cleats ($150) will be available this Friday, March 1 at adidas.com, Eastbay.com, and dickssportinggoods.com.
