Jake Paul is a brutally honest individual.

Jake Paul just had a fight against Tommy Fury that did not go his way. Overall, Paul made the fight pretty close, however, Fury was able to win via split decision. Subsequently, there are already numerous talks about a rematch. There have been various reports saying that the rematch would go down in July. However, nothing has been made official at this time. Not to mention, it seems just a bit premature for Paul to ask for a rematch given his performance. He didn't seem ready, and he still has a lot of work to do if he wants to beat Fury.

In the aftermath of this fight, Jake Paul has been doing all sorts of media with his brother Logan. For instance, he was recently on an episode of Impaulsive where he got to speak about the fight and some of the issues he faced. Overall, it was an insightful conversation where Paul took accountability for his L. However, he did mention the fact that he had a wet dream the night before the fight. This ultimately shook his confidence a bit as he had gone out of his way not to have sex before the fight.

Jake Paul Tells All

It should be noted that Jake doesn't believe this is the only reason why he lost. Although, he does think it is part of the reason for his L. Logan went on to say that he experienced the same thing before fighting KSI. "I remember when it happened to me, mentally, I was kinda destroyed a little bit," Logan Paul said. "You had just done this thing that isn't easy for three weeks to a month, holding your batch in ... it's not easy. And then, on the day of the f***ing fight, all your progress is destroyed. You're back to zero. And, it isn't a little release, either, by the way. It's like ... it's a lot, dude."

Moving forward, it seems like Paul will simply be training a bit harder before his fights. If he cannot beat Tommy Fury, then he will have to go back to fighting against YouTube stars. It is a harsh reality, but that just seems to be the case right now. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the boxing world.
