Skip Bayless is one of the most famous men out there when it comes to the sports talk world. He currently hosts Undisputed with the likes of Shannon Sharpe, and although they sometimes argue, they remain great partners. With Skip hovering around the age of 70, there is no doubt he is a bit out of touch with certain aspects of culture. However, Shannon is always there to educate him and keep him on track a bit. Sometimes, this ignorance leads to some hilarious moments on the show. Today, that is exactly what happened as Bayless was tasked with talking about Ja Morant.
As many of you already know, Morant is suspended indefinitely from the Memphis Grizzlies. Overall, this is due to his behavior on Instagram Live, where he was brandishing a gun. Moreover, every single headline involving Morant as of late has been very concerning. From altercations with other teams to alleged instances of uttering threats, things are not looking good for Ja. On today's episode of Undisputed, Bayless questioned whether or not Morant is part of the crips. This is because the young star has allegedly made crip signs in the past.
Skip Bayless Speaks
“What does that mean?" Skip asked. "Does that mean he wants to associate with the crips? Or did he get initiated by the crips? Or does he have dreams of being a crip? I don’t know.” On the surface, this clip was truly bizarre as Skip tried to earnestly discuss the crips' potential influence on Ja Morant. At this point, there is no evidence to suggest that Morant is part of that gang, however, it did not stop Bayless from asking questions. As you can imagine, the internet was a bit baffled and slightly amused by it all.
At this point, the Ja Morant speculation has gotten a bit out of hand. He clearly needs some help right now, but that isn't grounds for this kind of analysis and nitpicking. Hopefully, Morant is able to put all of this behind him and change for the better. Let us know what you thought of Bayless' segment, in the comments down below.
