Last month WWE Superstar Kane announced that he would be running for mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
The Big Red Republican Machine, government name Glenn Jacobs, reportedly filed paperwork in early March and has officially begun his mayoral campaign with his first political ad.
The 7-foot demon explained what he plans to accomplish if elected, per WATE.com,
"As Knox County mayor I promise to keep taxes low and make Knox County a place everyone can be proud of," Jacobs said, per WATE.com. "I see my role as that of a facilitator among the different communities in our area. And also I think that Mayor [Tim] Burchett has done a very good job with transparency in government, and I would continue along those lines."
Kane, 49, has been absent from the WWE for roughly the last six months but he was very active in the company throughout most of 2016 under the name "Corporate Kane."
Check out his first political campaign below, which unfortunately doesn't feature any choke slams, tombstones or pyrotechnics.
