The unlikely couple were all smiles at the big game.

The love is apparently still going strong between Cher and Alexander "AE" Edwards. The May-December romance took the world by surprise after the 76-year-old superstar revealed she and the 36-year-old music executive were canoodling. What was first dubbed a publicity stunt has allegedly unfolded into a rumored engagement, and at each step of the way, Cher and AE's smiles are beaming in photographs.

This unlikely pair has grown on fans, and they have been spotted together—everywhere from restaurant outings to this year's Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in an epic showdown that found the former the victor. Meanwhile, the sport's event was highlighted by Rihanna's halftime performance that marked the first time she's taken to the stage in some time.

Hoards of our favorite stars descended on Glendale, Arizona, for the big game. Cher and AE were spotted enjoying each other's company, giggling and flirting in the stands. The pair were happy despite Cher taking to social media to stand against critics who previously mentioned Edwards's infidelity record. It was something that the singer was well aware of.

"I'M IN ❤️ NOT BLINDED BY IT. KNOW WHAT I KNOW," she wrote at the time. "SMOKE DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN 🔥." Elsewhere, Cher addressed someone who was suspicious of Edwards and his intentions. "As we all know … I WASN'T BORN YESTERDAY," Cher replied. "What I know for sure, there are no guarantees. Anytime you make a choice, you take a chance. I've always taken chances … it's who I am."

Previously, Edwards's relationship with Amber Rose unraveled online amid rumors of infidelity. A woman looking for social media fame aired out Rose after she asked if Edwards was cheating on her. While the public ridiculed Rose for reaching out to the stranger, it was more devastating behind the scenes. Soon, Edwards emerged to admit to stepping out on the mother of his child. While it seemed that they reconciled, Rose now says she's single.
