Listen to another new song from Miguel called "Shockandawe."

With exception to a couple cross-genre features, including songs with Dua Lipa, RL Grime & DJ Premier, R&B singer Miguel has been relatively quiet for the most part in 2017, but thankfully that changed last week when he returned out of the blue with Travis Scott for his lead single “Sky Walker” off his forthcoming album. While the single continues to pick up momentum & looks to be a hit, following the release of its music video last week (see here ICYMI), Miguel doesn’t look to be slowing down at all.  With “Skywalker” in rotation, another record from the 31-year old R&B singer has surfaced online today called “Shockandawe,” which will be officially available on iTunes at midnight.

Over some electric guitar riffs, the R&B heartthrob delivers a funky & hypnotizing record that finds him “liking what he sees" & asking his woman to strip for him. “Bang bang give it up right now/ strip for me baby strip for me,” he sings repeatedly in the chorus. It’s not your traditional R&B record, but definitely refreshingly new and out-of-the-box, something we like to hear from Miguel.

It’s unknown at the moment if this is another single off what appears Miguel’s next project or just an appetizer to hold us over in the meantime, but we’re definitely all for it. Seeing how it’s available on iTunes, something tells me this could be album material, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Take a listen to the hypnotizing new cut and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics:

United Nations keep watching
I’ll play the hero
Leave ya keep talking
But who want to stop me
I run, I write I rock
I ran thats right I run
I write I rock I ran Im saying…
