It’s been a long time coming, since July to be exact when it was first announced, but Travis Scott’s short film for Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight has finally arrived via Apple Music tonight.
Following up his “La Flame” documentary, which dropped back in September, the 18-minute short film was shot in Detroit and stars Travis as himself as he reflects on life and death. Travis originally said the film was supposed to arrive with the album, but obviously that didn’t happen.
“You know I’m always into film and I’m doing a short film with this album. I’m putting that out with the album. That’s also what’s taking it so long. I just shot it and shit. And it’s like a long, lengthy film. It’s all the shit that I’ve been doing. All this innovative shit I just wanna do. And there’s even more shit that I’m not gonna speak on now to be impactful,” Travis said.
The short film surfaces tonight in celebration of #BITTSM reaching nearly 1 billion streams via Apple Music. "With close to a billion streams and a top ten most streaming album of all-time with Apple, we feeding the streets tonight!" Travis captioned along with the trailer Monday afternoon.
