As we expected & reported last week, Travis Scott is indeed the latest rapper to sign with Apple Music. On Monday, the Houston rapper called into Shade 45’s The Whoolywood Shuffle & confirmed the news live on-air.
“I just did my partnership with Apple Music and shit,” La Flame told DJ Whoo Kid. “Larry’s fucking amazing. That dude, he believes. He’s always talked to me when I was like beginning off. He always gave me that advice. You know, just to figure out where I’m going. So, I’m glad he’s down to take this trip with the kid and with this album; it’s super good.”
The album in which Travis is talking about (above) is his long-overdue Bird’s In The Trap Sing McKnight, which should be coming any day and/or week now. Unfortunately, La Flame didn’t give us any further hints as for when we can expect the album to arrive, but he did reveal that he’s been working on a short film to accompany it, and you already know that’s going to be very interesting & dope.
While we wait for more info to surface, listen to Travis talk about his new deal with Apple (around 1:15 mark) below.
