Festival lineup announcement season is in full swing. We've already heard from Coachella, Bonnaroo, Gov Ball, Panorama, and Yam's Day. This morning, Boston Calling unveiled its 2017 lineup, as well as a new festival format.
Hip hop and hip hop-adjacent acts this year: Chance the Rapper, Solange, Danny Brown, Run the Jewels, Flatbush Zombies, Major Lazer, Majid Jordan, Cousin Stizz, Russ, and Francis and the Lights. Other performers include The XX, Tool. Mumford & Sons, Weezer, The 1975, and Sigur Ros.
In years, past, Boston Calling has comprised of two events: one in the spring and one in the fall. This year, organizers are combining the whole thing into one weekend and expanding the lineup.
