No matter what happens this year, Chance The Rapper and Childish Gambino will get an opportunity to link up on stage. The two are headlining Governors Ball Music Festival this Spring in New York City.
Being at the same show at the mecca of hip hop, the two consummate artists might drop some new fire on the audience. The two have been hinting at a future collaborative project for some time now.
Back in 2014, not only did they perform solo sets at Governors Ball, but Chance also joined Childish onstage to treat their fans with a special delivery of "The Worst Guys." It was moments later that Childish first announced they were working on a joint mixtape.
Other artists in the lineup include Wiz Khalifa, Wu-Tang Clan, ScHoolboy Q, YG, Rae Sremmurd, The Avalanches, A$AP Ferg, Majid Jordan, Khelani, Skepta and Danny Brown.
Following Coachella's lineup reveal Tuesday, it looks like 2017 might turn out to be a great year to attend a music festival or two.
Tickets for Governors Ball will be available for purchase Friday at 12 p.m. ET.
