Nigerian artist Davido connects with American superstars Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd for "Pere."

We've seen the American market open a bit more lately, in terms of international stars and international music. Case in point, the #1 song in the country right now is by a Puerto Rican singer, "Despacito." In terms of hip-hop too though, we've got dudes like WizKid finally reaching a larger audience, in part thanks to the welcoming co-signs of North American artists (cough Drake cough), as well as the general accessibility the internet provides.

Davido may be the next artist to follow in WizKid's footsteps. The Nigerian-born artist recently collabed with fellow Nigerian, Wale, on the record "Fine Girl" which just received a visual treatment. Today he sets his sights on new levels though, enlisting Young Thug and Rae Sremmurd, over DJ Mustard production, on "Pere"-- that's a U.S.-radio-ready collab if there ever was one.

Preview the song via Apple, and stay tuned for it to hit iTunes at Midnight.

Quotable Lyrics

I just ran it up for my people's sake
I just fucked that bitch on a birthday cake
Fuck me fifty times, this some
Told her I ain't play no games, ain't no Playstation
My dreads gettin' long and my niggas Haitian
