Cole makes a surprise appearance on the closing track of "Everybody."

After 5 Logic verses and a skit from astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, you may think that "AfricAryaN," the controversially-titled closing track on Logic's fourth studio album Everybody, has revealed all of its cards. It turns out, the biggest surprise is saved for last, as J. Cole, who is not credited as a feature on the 12-minute epic, enters with a lo-fi beat change. As someone with more experience in the rap game than Logic, Cole offers his collaborator advice, both for his career and his bi-racial identity, which Logic's previous verses center around.

"My advice, fuck the black and white shit / Be who you are, identify as a star / No one tells you you're that / It's something that you just know," he raps. Later, he instructs Logic not to invest too much of his self-worth in his music. "Just start to notice happiness don't come from album release / I've been through it before / Can only share with you what I know."

Earlier in the verse, he raps from Logic's own perspective, summarizing his story before offering his take. "Actin' like everything's all good / But in reality I'm lookin' for something / Through bumpin' my favorite rappers I came up after / Nas, Cole, and Hov."

He closes the verse with the argument that one cannot find true happiness through others, but only oneself and God. "Let me tell you now, you're worthy enough / Fuck approval from strangers, that shit is dangerous as hell / Find God, learn to accept yourself / And I'm gone, accept Him."

Quotable Lyrics:
Chasing dreams, fantasies of a throne
One day I wake up
And see that it didn't exist all along
Till then I will pen verses
That fans consider brilliant
Boosting my ego
With every million that spills in
And still then
I won't find solace
So where's the logic in that?
Worrying 'bout if they think Logic could rap
