Ice Cold

Big Lenbo and Logic team up on a traditionally-informed new track.

"Young Jesus" stands as a fan favorite with the Logic catalog, but it's no more important to anyone than Big Lenbo, who shared his first recorded verse on the track. Logic fans know his story well -- Lenbo is one of the rapper's oldest friends, and is actually the person who pushed him to take on music full time. Logic returned the favor on "Young Jesus," and the two have now reunited on "Ice Cold," a track from Lenbo's upcoming solo project Strange Days.

Like "Jesus" and 2016 solo release "Protect Ya Neck," Lenbo pulls influence from 90s New York boom bap. He sounds more comfortable than ever on the track, and Logic enters as the perfect compliment.

Logic's third studio album Everybody is out May 5th. It will arrive alongside a documentary directed by Justin Fleischer & Mike Holland. Read our interview with Fleischer here.

Quotable Lyrics:
Everybody know my shit is wack, Lenbo the best
It's how you irrelevant rappers feel put it to rest
Livin' on the need to get down but I digress
Young Sinatra on the track
Know I'm back and nevertheless
Smoke a little, chill, laid back you'll never stress
I was never really one to smoke I must confess
When it comes to killing anxiety, no contest
And fuck ending this line with the same rhyme
