We heard Big Lenbo’s first every recorded verse back in September of 2015 when he was featured on Logic’s “Young Jesus.” Now he’s back with a debut track of his own, “Protect Your Neck.” True to the song’s reference, it's a heavily ‘90s-influenced track, with a short horn loop and boom-bap drums.
Big Lenbo’s story is actually quite interesting. He has been friends with Logic for some time, and was the one who originally encouraged Logic to pursue music full time. When Logic blew up, he grabbed Lenbo and took him along for the ride. Of course, that gave Big Lenbo plenty of time to work on his own music, and this is the result.
Are y’all feeling Logic’s homey Big Lenbo?
