The internet nearly exploded yesterday when rumors of a track featuring Kendrick Lamar teaming up with Lady Gaga and Eminem surfaced. Later, it turned out to all be false, but in a recent interview the good kid, m.A.A.d city rapper says that a collabo with him and Em is imminent.
Dr. Dre has co-signed K.Dot, as evidenced by them gracing the cover of XXL together, so it seems natural that Dre's former protege, Slim Shady, would be open to working with the young West Coast talent. While the two have only meet briefly, Kendrick says fans can expect them to work together at some point.
When discussing the prospect of working with Mr. Mathers, Lamar said (from HipHopDX), "I have met [Eminem] - it was real brief. I'm not gonna get in the studio with him [this time], but we bumped heads and he said he's a fan of my music. The fact that I'm part of the [Interscope] family, we'll see each other…you can definitely expect a record [from us], definitely."
