Label mates and both being Dr. Dre collaborators, Kendrick Lamar and Eminem were photographed together, and people ran with it as evidence that the two were working on something in the studio together, but it appears that has yet to happen.
In an interview with Power 106, K-Dot was asked about the photographs, and if they had recorded together, but that is wishful thinking for both fans, and the Compton rapper, “I wish. We haven't really gotten a chance to build in the studio like that. I basically just met him for a second. But if I get that call, I'm definitely running.”
That dashes hopes of a Kendrick-Slim Shady collabo on The Marshall Mathers LP II, but now that Em is back making music, we could possibly see the two wordsmiths jump in the booth.
