Give it away, give it away, give it away now.

Anyone who was alive during the Platinum Era of hip-hip will remember this classic. In the early millennium, Aftermath was pretty much running the game, and Dr. Dre teamed up with Busta Rhymes for three joints off his Genesis album. The best, and most commercially successful was "Break Ya Neck," a rapid-fire rhyme inferno with an even wilder video.

The beat feels like classic Dre, yet finds the good Doctor stepping out of his comfort zone with a synth and guitar based arrangement. Busta Rhymes goes into absolute beast mode, further establishing himself as one of the illest and most consistent legends in the game. And while the track is almost seventeen years old, it still bangs today.

Quotable Lyrics

Here we go now, and you know everytime Busta-Bus be holding the fort
My ni*ga watch how we shutting it down
The way we put it on, coming through like a steamroller
Me and Dre ni*ga ain't no fucking around
