Remember Doe Boy? He had positioned himself to be one of the leading acts on Future's Freebandz label when he was unfortunately convicted of aggravated robbery in summer 2013 and was sent to prison for almost three years. He's finally back out, and he's made his return statement with the fittingly titled "Doe Boy Home."
Now that's he's back, Doe Boy's focus is on getting to the paper (which he's already counting), and proving his stripes again in the rap game. There's definitely no rust in his flow on "Doe Boy Home," as he drops a barrage of stinging punchlines over an eerie trap beat from Yung Coke. It's reminiscent of Offset's "First Day Out" -- though Doe Boy's incarceration was considerably longer than that of the Migos rapper. He definitely sounds hungry, and Freebandz must be glad to have him back in the rotation.
Quotable Lyrics
Gave my n*ggas guns and dope and put 'em on that corner
Used to be my fuck boy, now you talkin' gangsta
But I don't exercise my lips, I only work my fingers
