Oba Rowland is a rising emcee out of Detroit who scored his biggest hit this summer with "Lifestyle Pt. II," featuring Dej Loaf and Dex Osama, who was tragically shot and killed soon after the track started buzzing. Like Dej, with whom he recently toured, Rowland is a versatile artist, able to sing his own hooks, as he does on his new record, "Tonight."
The track also shows off his rapping skills, and his flow is immediately magnetic. "Tonight" appears on Rowland's new Black Santa mixtape, which isn't your average holiday project. The 10-track release finds Rowland rapping about how he's emerged as an unlikely winning candidate out of Detroit, and though the content is always tough, Rowland uses his charisma to make all different types of records.

Quotable Lyrics
Money, power, respect, all my n*ggas good business
Them n*ggas who left, man, it's cool, good riddance
I got hoes on my dick, but on the real, who isn't?
Way she fell on my lap, would've thought she was strippin'
