Hailing from North Side Las Vegas, JR Castro is making waves across the R&B landscape and he hasn't even dropped a project yet. After dropping tracks with Quavo, Kid Ink, YG, and Sevyn Streeter, and Pusha T in the last four months, Castro shares possibly his best track yet, "FMN", featuring some elite beatsmithery from Timbaland, who is executive producing Castro's debut EP You.
"FMN" is shorthand for "fuck me now," and that is pretty much the theme of the song. Castro switches gears between his soft tenor and flighty falsetto, both of which fit nicely amongst Timbaland's sparse, jazzy string harmonies.
Quotable Lyrics
Mix that Sprite with your Actavis, baby
Girl you define a waterfall
The way you drip wanna catch it all
What's the use in holding back now, baby
