With Joey Chestnut no longer the Nathan's Hot Dog champion of the world, the biggest name out of Coney Island is none other than Your Old Droog. After dropping of "The Dustiest" last week, he returns with a mean track called "Mr. Goodbar," linking up with Chicago's DJ Rude One for the production. The track is slated to appear on Rude One's ONEderful project due out in 2016.
With rhymes like "More than just a hoodstar, call me Mr. Goodbar" and "Crackheads got pipes like opera singers," Droog's wordplay is excellent as always.
NYC YOD fans can catch Rude One and Your Old Droog at the Closed Sessions x Boiler Room Showcase on Saturday, October 17. If you're thinking about going, don't forget to RSVP.
Quotable Lyrics
Y'all cats are so whack
And I'm iller with the pen than the Zodiac Killer
Phyllis like Dilla, I'm talking JD of the old ladies
No one realer
