Trinidad James recently announced he'd been dropped from his Def Jam deal. The rapper was snatched up by the label shortly after his "All Gold Everything" video went viral, but hasn't been able to match the success of the single since.
Now free of his obligations, the rapper has gone back to releasing his music on his own, which is how "All Gold Everything" came together, after all. The rapper has hit us with a few new tracks since cutting his ties with Def Jam, and his latest is a classic trap banger called "448".
The Jon Boi-produced number puts the rapper's energy on full display. Look out for more from James in the next little while.
Quotable Lyrics:
I ain't nothin' but an old school dope boy
White ones and the Polo t-shirt
Got jeans hangin' off my ass
With a whole lotta grams
Look bitch, I keep work
