Back in February, CyHi The Prynce put out his Black Hystori Project, which featured "Huey," a standout track about Huey Newton, a prominent Black Panther in the '60s. Now he's offered up an official remix, kicking off King Louie's verse on the original in favor of a pair of verses from Slaughterhouse cronies Royce Da 5'9" and Joell Ortiz.
Delivering high caliber verses over the song's hard snapping production, CyHi and Co. show their lyrical prowess. Somewhat surprisingly, CyHi is able to hold his own against two of hip-hop's most celebrated lyricists of the moment, showing that he's got a lot to offer as far as his words go.
Quotable Lyrics:
Triggas is poppin', niggas is rockin'
Bigger than Biggie and Pac
As big as the Kennedy killings
And we here to thicken the plot
