James Blakes takes a stab at Kendrick Lamar's "m.A.A.d city" for an instrumental remix.

James Blake unleashes his 'Harmonimix' remix treatment to Kendrick Lamar's "m.A.A.d city" record off the critically acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d city album. While the focus of TDE has been on ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron as of late (rightly so), this takes things back for a minute to K. Dot's debut, however, it's on a whole different vibe than the original.

With the start of the remix comes organ keys which come and go through out the 1:50 record, removing the trap feel of the original. The extra wavey instrumental has Kendrick's vocals on a loop, sticking with "seems like the whole city go against me."

Apparently James Blake recorded this mix while on a plane.

What do you think of this new mix? How's it compare to the original?

If you're enjoying this one, check out another remix from Blake, for Destiny Child's "Bills Bills Bills" here.
