"I think that was a sign of disrespect to me from the fans."

Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder was happy the Cs picked up a W last night against the Utah Jazz, but he wasn't happy with how the hometown crowd treated Gordon Hayward.

Hayward, who will be a free agent after this season and played for Boston's coach Brad Stevens in college, was cheered when he was introduced prior to the game by fans who are hoping he'll join the squad in the future. And that wasn't sitting right with Crowder.

"I heard the cheering before the game," Crowder said. "I didn’t like that at all. I think that was a sign of disrespect to me from the fans. That sparked a little fire in me. I just felt disrespected."

After the game he took to twitter to call out the Celtics fans and even responded to one fan by saying he has no problem leaving the city of Boston.

Crowder's currently in the second year of his five-year $35 million contract with the Celtics so he won't be going anywhere unless it's through a trade but judging from his reactions last night he would welcome that opportunity.
