Last night in Miami, during halftime of their game against the Lakers, the Heat raised Shaquille O'Neal's #32 jersey into the rafters, joining former Heat legends Alonzo Mourning and Tim Hardaway. The Diesel helped deliver Miami's first championship alongside Dwyane Wade in 2006, and in honor of Shaq's nickname the organization gifted him with a miniature semi-truck which was driven onto the court by his mother.
Later this season the Lakers will also be immortalizing Shaq with a nine-foot, 1,200 pound bronze statue that will hang 10-feet above the ground outside of Staples Center
