Over the weekend, just days before the Presidential election, LeBron James made a last ditch effort to boost Hillary Clinton's chances of winning by introducing her at the Ohio rally, alongside JR Smith.
LeBron formally endorsed Hillary about a month ago but yesterday he made it clear why he stands with her which might sway some Cleveland natives who are still undecided in the crucial swing state.
"Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty," James said. "And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear. That candidate is Hillary Clinton."
The superstar added, "I support Hillary because she will build on the legacy of my good friend, President Barack Obama."
Clinton returned the favor by praising LeBron's philanthropy of the court, you can check out what she had to say about the reigning NBA Champ below.
