Vince Staples' new EP Prima Donna hit a day early, with Zane Lowe debuting the EP on his Beats 1 radio show yesterday afternoon, alongside an exclusive interview with the rapper. Following the show, Apple Music released the stream for Prima Donna which you can listen to here.
Today Vince follows up that interview with another on Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club. The Long Beach native discusses whether or not his parents were supportive of his rap career, as well as the homies in his neighborhood. Vince opens up about being different in his youth and catching flack for it (people apparently called him "white boy").
The rapper goes on to discuss the "industry" and how he feels about it, how he got put on as a crip, and a lot more. It's pretty in-depth at 42 minutes.
